A deadline after which you simply can’t buy something anymore applies more pressure than any sale ever could.

Behaviour Interactive has announced that the Chucky DLC and its related content for Dead by Daylight will be delisted at 1:00 a.m. on November 25, 2026. Once the delisting hits, it can no longer be purchased.

The DLC is a collaboration with the Child’s Play films, and it includes the Killer known as The Good Guy. It is the first Killer in Dead by Daylight history to use a third-person camera, which makes it play unlike anything else on the roster.

Players who already own it can keep using it after the delisting. If you have not unlocked The Good Guy, though, the unique perks get folded into the general perk pool and renamed in the process. This article lays out the delisting date and time, the last-chance sale window on each platform, and exactly how those perk names change.

When does Dead by Daylight’s Chucky DLC get delisted?

The delisting lands at 1:00 a.m. on November 25, 2026. Past that moment, the Chucky DLC and its related content can no longer be bought new.

Item Details
Affected content Chucky DLC and related content
Delisting 1:00 a.m., November 25, 2026
Killer included The Good Guy (a Child’s Play collaboration)
Existing owners Still usable after the delisting
Base game platforms PC (Steam / Epic Games Store / Microsoft Store), PS5 and PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

A licensed collab Killer getting delisted is the kind of thing that can happen once you factor in the expiry date on a rights deal. But The Good Guy carries that third-person camera, a spec unique in all of DbD. Losing the ability to buy something that is one of a kind as a piece of game design carries a different weight than other collabs winding down.

When does the last-chance sale start? The window on each platform

The Chucky DLC is going 50% off in a last-chance sale on every platform. The start date differs from store to store, but every one of them ends on November 24.

Store Sale window (50% off)
Epic Games Store October 27 – November 24
Xbox and Microsoft Store October 27 – November 24
PlayStation November 3 – November 24
Nintendo Switch (Nintendo, Japan) October 28 – November 24
Nintendo Switch (Nintendo of America) October 27 – November 24
Nintendo Switch (Nintendo of Europe) October 27 – November 24
Steam November 11 – November 24

The thing worth flagging is that Steam’s start date of November 11 is the latest of the bunch. That leaves a window of only two weeks. The Epic and Xbox versions get moving on October 27, which means Steam players are kept waiting more than half a month. Forgetting about it while you wait and missing your shot is the most likely accident here.

Switch users in Japan also start on October 28, a day behind North America and Europe. A single day does little real harm, but since every store wraps up on November 24, the more you are on the fence the sooner you should move. The delisting hits at 1:00 a.m. on the 25th, so the night of the 24th is already too late for a last-second dash.

What happens if you never unlocked The Good Guy? How the perk names change

If you have not unlocked The Good Guy, the unique perks get added to the general perk pool, and each one is renamed.

Before (The Good Guy’s unique perks) After (general perks)
Hex: Two Can Play Hex: Eye for an Eye
Friends ’til the End Single-Minded
Batteries Included Power Boost

The important part is that the perks themselves are not disappearing from the game. Only the licensed names come off, and the effects stay in as general perks. For anyone running builds around them, this lands with very little actual loss.

Turn that around, though, and what you can no longer get after November 25 is The Good Guy as a Killer, plus the look that comes with. If you only wanted the perks there is no need to rush, but if you want to play with that third-person feel, buying inside the window is the only route. That camera genuinely threw me at first, but once you adjust it’s a lot of fun.

Summing up the Chucky DLC delisting

In Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight, the Chucky DLC and its related content get delisted at 1:00 a.m. on November 25, 2026. The Killer included, The Good Guy, comes from the Child’s Play collaboration and is the first Killer in DbD history to use a third-person camera.

Players who already own it can keep using it after the delisting. If you have not unlocked it, the unique perks get added to the general perk pool, with Hex: Two Can Play becoming Hex: Eye for an Eye, Friends ’til the End becoming Single-Minded, and Batteries Included becoming Power Boost.

The last-chance sale is 50% off on every platform. All of them end on November 24, while the start dates are October 27 for Epic and Xbox, October 28 for Switch in Japan, November 3 for PlayStation, and November 11 for Steam. Keep an eye on the fact that Steam alone gets a short two-week run.

SPOTGEEKS VERDICT

As collab DLC delistings go, this one is handled on the considerate side. Existing owners keep playing, and the perks survive by going general. The only thing lost is the way in to the Killer itself, and the setup does not break the builds of people already playing. On the other hand, I think a November 11 start for the Steam sale is far too short. No explanation has been given for the two-week gap behind the other stores.

If you want to get your hands on The Good Guy, buying the day the sale opens is the right answer. November 25 will arrive while you’re still deciding.
