The TV anime BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica begins its nationwide simultaneous broadcast on Friday, January 8, 2027 at 11:30 p.m. in Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-Ani) block. Bushiroad announced the official title and the time slot on October 25, 2026, and put out the second teaser PV, Side Ave Mujica, the same day. It is a sequel to both BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, a series whose production was announced immediately after the Ave Mujica finale aired on March 27, 2025.
The biggest change here is the network. It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica were both late-night shows built around TOKYO MX. This time it is Friday at 11:30 p.m. on Nippon TV, going out across the country at the same moment. The slot that has carried Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is about to take in the BanG Dream! series with the most thoroughly wrecked relationships in it.
This article lays out the broadcast date and what that slot actually is, where you can watch the two teaser PVs, how all of this compares with the previous two series, and how it connects to the film BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora, currently in theaters. Staff and story details still are not posted on the official site, so where something is unknown, I will say it is unknown.
- It airs January 8, 2027 at 11:30 p.m., nationwide, in Nippon TV’s Fura-Ani block
- The second teaser PV shows Ave Mujica in new outfits; the first one is theaters only
- From TOKYO MX to a nationwide network: what is different from the first two series
- The film prima aurora opened October 16, and it is the only place to see teaser PV 1
Start with the broadcast information. What the official site’s On Air page says is all there is.
When and where does BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica air?
It goes out nationwide at the same time from 11:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2027, in Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT block. The official site notes that the broadcast date and time may change without notice, and as of October 26, 2026 nothing has been announced about streaming.
The title of the sequel TV anime series that starts airing on Friday, January 8, 2027 has been decided: the TV anime BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica. It will begin airing nationwide at the same time from 23:30 on Friday, January 8, 2027, in Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-Ani) block.

Those two slashes in the title do more than set two band names side by side. They read like a declaration that the show is carrying on two series, It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica, with equal weight. This should not be a show where one band stars and the other guests. Two bands and ten characters are already lined up on the official site’s Character page.
| Band | Members (role) |
|---|---|
| MyGO!!!!! | Tomori Takamatsu (vocals), Anon Chihaya (guitar), Rana Kaname (guitar), Soyo Nagasaki (bass), Taki Shiina (drums) |
| Ave Mujica | Doloris (guitar and vocals), Mortis (guitar), Timoris (bass), Amoris (drums), Oblivionis (keyboard) |
Where can you watch the second teaser PV, Side Ave Mujica?
The second teaser PV, Side Ave Mujica, has been up on YouTube on the Bandori Channel since October 25, 2026. It is footage of the Ave Mujica members wearing new outfits, and the official description promises that you can “see the members of Ave Mujica dressed in their new costumes.”
The first teaser PV, on the other hand, is nowhere online. It plays only in theaters, after the main feature of the film BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora. Given that Side Ave Mujica is numbered as the second one, the natural read is that the first is the MyGO!!!!! side of the story, but the official announcement does not go that far. If you want to see it, you go to a theater. That is the pitch.
- Teaser PV 1: screening in theaters after the main feature of prima aurora (not released online)
- Teaser PV 2, Side Ave Mujica: up now on YouTube on the Bandori Channel
- prima aurora main PV 2: uses the insert song “A Song of Romance,” up now on YouTube
Teasing a sequel with footage you can only see in a theater is the classic move of promising the next thing to the audience already paying for this one. It is designed so that the people who watched prima aurora are the first to lay eyes on the new series. The more curious you are about what is in that online-free first teaser, the more likely you are to buy a ticket.
From TOKYO MX to Nippon TV: what changes from the first two series?
It’s MyGO!!!!! ran from June to September 2023, and Ave Mujica from January 2 to March 27, 2025. Both were 13 episodes, and both aired on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV and AT-X. If you lived in the Kanto area you watched on TOKYO MX; in Kansai, KBS Kyoto or Sun TV. It was late-night anime carried mainly by independent stations. This time that becomes a nationwide simultaneous broadcast on Nippon TV.
| Series | Air period | Stations | Episodes |
|---|---|---|---|
| BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! | June – September 2023 | TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, AT-X | 13 episodes |
| BanG Dream! Ave Mujica | January 2 – March 27, 2025 | TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, AT-X | 13 episodes |
| BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica | January 8, 2027 onward | Nippon TV, nationwide simultaneous broadcast | Not announced |
The block catching it, FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT, expanded in April 2026 into two slots at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., an hour of anime on Nippon TV. Over 2026 the winter season ran Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End season 2, spring and summer ran That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 4, spring also had Snowball Earth, and summer had Kore Egaite Shine (roughly, “Draw This and Die”). The new series lands on the later half of that hour, Fura-Ani 2330.
On the first two series, the director was Kodai Kakimoto, series composition was by Yuniko Ayana, and animation production was by SANZIGEN. As of October 26, 2026 the new show’s staff is not listed on the official site’s Staff and Cast page, so there is no telling who is returning. Since Kodai Kakimoto directed the film prima aurora, it is tempting to assume the same team carries over, but this one waits for the announcement.
How does the film BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora fit in?
BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora opened October 16, 2026 in 102 theaters nationwide. It runs 57 minutes, Kodai Kakimoto directed, and it is the theatrical continuation of It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica. Both the live sequences and the drama sequences are new animation, and it follows Ave Mujica carrying on as a band while holding on to a secret.

So the running order is two TV series, then the film prima aurora, then the new TV series in January 2027. They dropped the sequel’s title and air date while the movie is still playing, and they are showing the sequel’s first footage inside the theater. It ties the box office and the broadcast together on a single line.
Ave Mujica, a band that hides behind masks, and MyGO!!!!!, a group that broke apart once and then rebuilt itself. When those two sit inside the same single season, which story moves forward first? Coming from a guy with two divorces behind him, I am hopeless against stories about tying a broken relationship back together. Two and a half months until it airs, and I would rather see teaser PV 1 in a theater before I decide anything.

Wrap-up: the broadcast details for BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica
BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica airs nationwide at the same time from 11:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2027, in Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT block. The title and the time slot were announced on October 25, 2026, teaser PV 2, Side Ave Mujica, is up on YouTube, and teaser PV 1 screens only in theaters, after the main feature of the film BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora (released October 16). Because the first two series went out mainly on independent stations centered on TOKYO MX, the move to a nationwide network is a first for the franchise. Staff, story and streaming are all unannounced as of October 26, 2026.
From late nights on TOKYO MX to a nationwide Nippon TV network. The jump in broadcaster is itself an answer to how far BanG Dream! has reached as anime. On the content side there are still only two teaser PVs, and staff and streaming are a blank page. The only things locked down are the date and time, 11:30 p.m. on January 8, and the existence of a first teaser you can see nowhere but a theater.
Right now, the only thing worth watching is in a movie theater. Before January 8, sit through prima aurora to the very end at least once.
