Nintendo aired its indie showcase Indie World 2026.10.28 at 11 p.m. JST on October 28, 2026, running through 23 games for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Jonathan Blow's new puzzle game Order of the Sinking Star and the Switch 2 version of Urban Myth Dissolution Center both went live the moment the show ended, and co-op horror hit R.E.P.O. was confirmed for Switch 2.
The broadcast was a roughly 25-minute pre-recorded presentation, built in three tiers: out today, out in November, and the big swings for 2027. Put together, it fills in almost the entire indie calendar from the holidays through next spring.
This article splits the lineup into same-day releases, November releases, and 2027's headliners, with release windows and supported hardware in one place. I have flagged which games have demos too, so start there if something catches your eye.
Switch 2 exclusives dominate these 23 games. Buy one assuming it will run on the original Switch and it is going to hurt, so please actually read the hardware column in the tables.
Let us start with what you can play today.
Which games released the same day as Indie World 2026.10.28?
Order of the Sinking Star, Urban Myth Dissolution Center (Switch 2 version), One Turn Kill and BaoBao's Cozy Cleaning Service all hit the eShop immediately after the broadcast wrapped. Sword of the Sea follows one day later, on October 29, for Switch 2.
| Title | Hardware | Release date |
|---|---|---|
| Order of the Sinking Star | Switch 2 | Out now, October 28 |
| Urban Myth Dissolution Center (Switch 2 version) | Switch 2 | Out now, October 28. Adds a gallery feature |
| One Turn Kill | Switch 2 / Switch | Out now, October 28. Launch discount available |
| BaoBao's Cozy Cleaning Service | Switch | Out now, October 28 |
| Sword of the Sea | Switch 2 | October 29 |
Order of the Sinking Star is the new game from Jonathan Blow of Braid and The Witness, packing more than 1,000 puzzles across four worlds whose systems link into one another as you go. Urban Myth Dissolution Center was one of 2025's breakout titles, and the Switch 2 version adds a new gallery feature. Sword of the Sea launched first on PS5, which makes Switch 2 its first move onto another platform.
Which Indie World games arrive in November?
Three games cluster on November 10: TANUKI: Pon's Summer, Raccoin: Chaos Max Edition and Table Game World: CCFOLIA for Nintendo Switch 2. Spirit Crossing follows on November 16. The R.E.P.O. demo also goes up on November 10.
| Title | Hardware | Release date |
|---|---|---|
| TANUKI: Pon's Summer | Switch 2 | November 10. An open world about a tanuki delivering packages by BMX |
| Raccoin: Chaos Max Edition | Switch 2 | November 10. A coin pusher with roguelike elements. Demo available |
| Table Game World: CCFOLIA for Nintendo Switch 2 | Switch 2 | November 10 |
| R.E.P.O. (demo) | Switch 2 | Demo out November 10. Full release in 2027 |
| Spirit Crossing | Switch 2 / Switch | November 16. A co-op life-sim MMO |
| Rhythm Doctor | Switch 2 | December 2026. A rhythm game about healing patients in time with their heartbeat |
The three November 10 games split cleanly by genre. Delivery action, a coin pusher and a tool for tabletop RPGs: same release date, zero appetite for each other's audience.
Which Indie World games are lined up for 2027?
2027 is where the heavy hitters sit. Co-op horror R.E.P.O., life sim Slime Rancher 2, magic-school sim Witchbrook and turn-based RPG Threads of Time are all waiting, and eight-player golf brawler Super Battle Golf already has a hard date: March 25, 2027.
| Title | Hardware | Release window |
|---|---|---|
| Everything Is Crab | Switch 2 | January 26, 2027 |
| Witchbrook | Switch 2 / Switch | January 28, 2027 |
| Slime Rancher 2 | Switch 2 | January 2027 |
| Petal Runner | Switch 2 | March 8, 2027. Demo available |
| My Arms are Longer Now | Switch 2 / Switch | March 11, 2027 |
| Super Battle Golf | Switch 2 | March 25, 2027. Eight-player online golf built on sabotage |
| Dumpster Gang | Switch 2 | March 2027. A four-player co-op sandbox |
| Winds of Viridia | Switch 2 | Early 2027. Demo available |
| Hyperyuki: Snowboard Syndicate | Switch 2 | Early 2027 |
| Lost and Found Co. | Switch 2 | 2027 |
| Cairn | Switch 2 | Spring 2027. Mountaineering survival. Demo available |
| Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino | Switch 2 / Switch | Spring 2027 |
| Finding Polka | Switch | Spring 2027 |
| Floor Plan: Slap Out of It | Switch 2 | Spring 2027 |
| Haunted Paws | Switch 2 / Switch | May 2027. Co-op adventure. Demo available |
| Threads of Time | Switch 2 / Switch | Summer 2027. Turn-based RPG |
| R.E.P.O. | Switch 2 | 2027 |
| Tenjutsu | Switch 2 | 2027. Roguelike action |
| City of None | Switch 2 / Switch | 2027 |
R.E.P.O. is the one to watch here. A co-op horror game that caught fire on PC coming to Switch 2 reads to me like a decision made on the assumption that Switch 2's online infrastructure can take this kind of game. The November 10 demo is where we find out whether the connection holds up.

Twenty-five minutes of show, stacked into three clean tiers: today, next month, next year.
