The first-ever smartphone game based on the TV anime Is the Order a Rabbit? was announced on October 30, 2026. Development and operation are being handled by enish. It is coming to iOS and Android as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases. The release window and the genre have not been announced, and an official X account, @gochiusa_game, opened the same day.
Alongside the announcement, a key visual built from 3D models of Chino (Chino Kafuu) and Cocoa (Cocoa Hoto) went out. The source material is Koi’s four-panel manga, serialized in Manga Time Kirara MAX since 2011, and the anime ran for three TV seasons plus an OVA and a theatrical film from 2014 onward. This is the first smartphone game the series has gotten, more than a decade after the anime began.
So what does a slice-of-life four-panel comedy that gave the world “kokoro pyon pyon” turn into as a game? This article walks through what was announced, what kind of studio enish is, what the 3D models hint at, and everything still unconfirmed.
Let’s start with what was announced.
What exactly was announced about the Is the Order a Rabbit? smartphone game?
According to enish’s press release, the first smartphone game in the Is the Order a Rabbit? series has been greenlit and an official X account is now live. It is coming to iOS and Android, free to play with in-app purchases. The project is being referred to as the Is the Order a Rabbit? smartphone game for now; the final title has not been announced.

The copyright line is worth a second look, because it reads as the BLOOM production committee. BLOOM was the committee behind the third TV season, which aired in 2020, meaning this game is being built on that season’s lineup of rights holders. That makes it likely the character designs and voice cast will follow the anime. Since the official materials do not say so outright, treat it as what it appears to be rather than a confirmed fact.
What kind of company is developer and operator enish?
enish, founded in 2009 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market, develops and operates smartphone games. Its specialty is games built on anime and manga IP, including BLEACH Soul Rising, released overseas, titles tied to the Love Live! series, and a game based on The Quintessential Quintuplets.
What stands out is the studio’s track record with slice-of-life IP and casts built around female characters. When you turn a series like Is the Order a Rabbit? into a game, something with no combat in it at all, the whole challenge is how you assemble card collecting, story, outfits, performances and minigames into a loop. enish has designed that kind of game more than once, so I do not expect anything wildly off target.
The concern is that some enish titles have had fairly short operating lives. A free-to-play IP game that does not earn out of the gate tends to close within a year or two. Is the Order a Rabbit? has a deep fanbase, but whether it lasts comes down to how the live service is run after launch.
What can we read from the Chino and Cocoa 3D models?
The visual that was released uses 3D models of Chino and Cocoa. Leading with 3D rather than 2D illustration suggests the characters will move in 3D in-game, whether on a home screen, in performances or in minigames. That is not an official explanation, just an inference from the materials shown.
The Is the Order a Rabbit? anime sold itself on soft character linework and the atmosphere of its shops, Rabbit House and Fleur de Lapin. Whether that air survives in 3D depends entirely on model quality. Judging by the visual that went out, the anime’s feel has been translated into 3D with real care.
The likeliest genres are a simulation built around running the cafe, or an adventure game centered on conversations with the characters. Given that the story is set in a coffee shop called Rabbit House, and that what fans want is to be in that daily routine, there is little reason to bolt combat onto it. Again, this is my own read, with no official announcement behind it.
When does it release? Here’s everything still unannounced
As of October 31, 2026, there is no official release window. The press release says only that the game has been greenlit, with no indication of whether that means this year or 2027. Pre-registration has not opened either.
| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| Release window | Not announced |
| Final title | Not announced |
| Genre and systems | Not announced |
| Pre-registration | Not open yet |
| Playable characters | Nothing beyond Chino and Cocoa announced |
| Voice cast | Not announced (appears to follow the anime, but unconfirmed officially) |
| Music and theme song | Not announced |
With the official X account only just opened, the normal order from here is pre-registration, then a reveal of the game systems, then a trailer. Is the Order a Rabbit? is in its twelfth year on the air in 2026, and this does not look like a release timed to an anniversary, so the date will come down to enish’s development progress.
It is also true that people on social media are calling this ten years late. There was no Is the Order a Rabbit? smartphone game across the anime’s 2014 to 2020 run, and fans have been waiting the whole time. Arriving late means expectations are high.

The bottom line: the first Is the Order a Rabbit? mobile game is an enish project with no release date yet
The first smartphone game based on Is the Order a Rabbit? was announced on October 30, 2026. enish is developing and operating it for iOS and Android as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases. The official X account @gochiusa_game is live, and a visual using 3D models of Chino and Cocoa has been released. The release window, final title, genre and voice cast have not been announced as of October 31, 2026. The copyright notice is based on the production committee for the third anime season, BLOOM.
Turning an IP with no combat in it into a game is hard. But what people want from Is the Order a Rabbit? has never been strength or winning; it is time spent in that cafe. Leading the reveal with 3D models reads to me as a statement of intent that the studio means to build that time inside the screen. Everything else comes down to the release date, and to the monetization not being brutal. That’s all I’m praying for.
If the game lets me work a shift at Rabbit House, my resume is already in the mail.
